Catherine’s Self Portrait, Poem
My sleep melts over me.
I draw the dream closer.
Suddenly morning barefoot in the kitchen.
Dawn throws confetti across the walls.
I remember the moon from the night before.
Waiting for coffee, I dance in my nightgown, circling.
