Maps and visual journals resonate with my interest in synthesis and layering. This project explores the terrain of women’s experience. I map these inner and outer landscapes in poems and a series of blue images. What is found at different ages and in diverse contexts and eras? What discoveries ignite new directions and passions? What are the themes running always underneath like a river? I do not know all the forms this exploration will take. This journey is not linear or chronological.
