Musings On Collaboration

We were companions and conspirators.  We wrote first drafts of poems in Catherine’s orchard using common titles or opening lines.  Side by side we painted words into large canvases. And pressed words into cloth and paper scrolls that we could hang, fly like kites, banner, prayer flags.  The artist book used dos-a-dos structure placing a signature of each of our poems back to back with a common cover to reflect the landscape between us.
