My desire was to create the experience of these places…the beauty and immediacy of wilderness that expands and deepens relationship with the all beings of the world. Each experience seemed best expressed in single sheets of textured paper that could be shuffled and re-ordered by the reader.

For Brian, these loose pages were placed in a one-of-a-kind portfolio made of paper with the texture of terrain.  In a limited edition I was delighted to make a map case of oil cloth paper that felt like something you would tuck into your rucksack or leather valise as you boarded a ship.
