Making a book: livelihood, collaboration & community

Installation at Santa Fe Complex: Glowing white space • delicate, translucent, and illuminated • paper, fabric and light • quiet, layered and suspended

This project brought together:  A reading from my thin-skinned wandering with video projection on two screens in an intimate space • A gallery exhibit of artist books.  • Making a book: livelihood, collaboration & community: A  conversation with publisher Tres Chicas, Santa Fe Complex Director, Roy Wroth and the audience.

Santa Fe Complex is a place which explored collaboration and community, art AND science. Poetry is a conversation – listening and giving voice to the weave of story, community and land.  I think this event at Santa Fe Complex created a layered atmosphere for people to experience this weave.

Special thanks to Dylan McLaughlin, filmmaker.
