An excursion to a misty place – a suitcase packed with new books and kimonos. An unexpected collaboration and last minute adventure… Shinjo (Jyl Brewer) asks to wear one of my kimonos for her butoh dance. I sew a silver kimono with bees, dream landscapes, and poem fragments. An architect constructs a tea house, two musicians will improvise music. It will come together the afternoon before the performance in ArtXchange Gallery in Seattle. Imagine! Deep bows to Shinjo for this opportunity.
